INTERVIEW WITH CLAUDIO MARZOCCO

Is it important for you to run a family group?

The family dimension is an essential foundation and source of strength for the Marzocco Group. Its founder, my father Domenico, passed on key values to me: a constant demand for rigor, exemplary professionalism and a deep passion for excellence. These principles guide every aspect of our work. We are determined to offer incomparable quality while scrupulously respecting our commitments to our customers and partners. This family heritage inspires us to constantly innovate and explore new perspectives.

Has your personal background influenced the Group’s direction?

My background has certainly played a part in the Group’s development. After projects in Italy, I chose Monaco for its stability and multiple opportunities. We have built large-scale residences, such as the Villa de Rome, that have redefined the standards of luxury real estate in Monaco. This transition marked a turning point and reinforced our commitment to creating exceptional spaces for a demanding clientele.

Did Monaco live up to your expectations?

Far beyond! Monaco embodies a unique combination of security, simplicity and transparency in urban planning regulations. These assets allow a rare freedom of architectural expression. The Principality is the perfect setting for innovative and daring projects.

How is the Marzocco Group organized?

We integrate several complementary activities: construction, property development and management. These synergies give us great flexibility and guarantee optimal control over every stage of our projects. In terms of governance, we work on a collegial basis: every decision is subject to a family consensus.

Your attention to detail is well known. Is it a strategic choice?

Absolutely. In the luxury sector, every element counts, whether it’s a door handle or a custom finish. Our projects, such as the Odeon Tower and Bay House, illustrate this constant quest for perfection. It’s an investment in time and energy, but it’s also what guarantees the satisfaction and loyalty of our customers.

What recent projects embody this spirit of excellence?

Testimonio II is an emblematic example. It is a major project for Monaco, combining modernity, sustainability and refinement. With its 378 state-owned homes, public infrastructure and upscale private residences, it reflects our commitment to bold architectural solutions. We also wanted to introduce optimized living spaces and personalized services, to meet residents’ expectations while respecting the strictest environmental standards. The Bay House residence, with its exceptional villas and apartments, testifies to our ability to push back the boundaries of luxury and innovation. These achievements illustrate our ambition to contribute to Monaco’s reputation.

What are your plans for the future of the Marzocco Group?

The Group’s future lies in a strategy of continuous expansion and innovation. We aim to strengthen our international presence, while continuing to develop in Monaco. The integration of sustainable technologies and the search for new standards of luxury will be at the heart of our priorities. We also plan to explore international collaborations to meet unprecedented architectural challenges.
