A visionary group

Groupe Marzocco is a key player in the luxury real estate sector. The group is particularly renowned for its expertise in the fields of development, construction and renovation, as well as for its premium property services.

Headquartered in the Principality of Monaco, the group is celebrated for the exceptional quality of its projects and its commitment to both private and institutional clients. It is supported in its undertakings by some 200 employees.

In the 1980s, Groupe Marzocco delivered numerous projects and began developing properties along the Italian Riviera – the birthplace of its expertise. The group also continued to expand in Monaco with the construction of the Saint André on Boulevard de Suisse in 1981 and, in 1983, the Michelangelo, Botticelli and Donatello buildings in Fontvieille.

The group broke with convention in the 1990s by offering spacious interiors, exquisite finishes and properties tailored to the demands of an elite international clientele at a time when the market still favoured small units.

The luxurious Villa de Rome and Villa Hermosa, with their spacious, high-end apartments, marked a turning point in the group’s growth, demonstrating its ability to overcome ambitious architectural, aesthetic and technological challenges. Decades later, these buildings remain at the pinnacle of elegance.

Today, the group continues to uphold this legacy of excellence under the leadership of Claudio Marzocco, who is joined by his brother Luca, sons Daniele and Niccolò, and nephew Domenico. Together, while remaining firmly attached to their family values, they have fostered a culture of innovation in their tireless pursuit of perfection.

From Sanremo in Italy to the Principality of Monaco, Groupe Marzocco’s journey has been defined by excellence.

Our story

Half a century of passion and dedication

The group’s story began in 1960s Italy, when visionary entrepreneur Domenico Marzocco embarked on a career in construction before settling in Monaco. His leadership laid the foundations of the group: quality craftsmanship, professional rigour and a true passion for building.

Monaco

Serving the Principality

Monaco is home to around 40,000 residents from over 140 countries. Strategically located between France and Italy, this exceptional setting affords the Principality a secure environment and complete political and fiscal stability. Its remarkably dynamic economy supports a steadily growing GDP that is driven by Monaco’s thriving service sector and world-class cultural and sporting scenes.

In this climate of innovation and excellence, Groupe Marzocco plays a pivotal role in Monaco’s urban and social development. Our group has delivered 30% of the Principality’s public housing, including Tour Odéon, Jardins d’Apolline, Tamaris and Hélios, where solar panels cover half of the hot water needs.

More recently, the group built the International School of Monaco as part of the Testimonio II development, and worked on the foundations and base of the new Princess Grace Hospital. These initiatives highlight our dedication to sustainability, preserving heritage and enhancing quality of life.

“For entrepreneurs like us, the ‘Monégasque dream’ represented an opportunity to seize one’s chance and succeed by implementing bold ideas.”

Innovation

Boldly building the future

Innovation is pivotal to Groupe Marzocco’s approach, proving that the group has been able to adapt to societal and technological changes over the decades. This core value paves the way for sustainable development, enhances the wellbeing of residents and employees, and ensures delivery of first-class services.

A drainage gallery at the Testimonio II development, designed to collect fresh water, is just one of the group’s recent structural innovations, along with sustainable technologies such as ocean thermal energy systems, grey water irrigation and heat recovery solutions to promote environmentally responsible living. The group has also innovated at a strategic level to optimise timelines, for example by using the “Up & Down” technique at Tour Odéon, where the infrastructure and superstructure were constructed simultaneously.

Groupe Marzocco’s design choices also exude innovation. From undulating balconies and prestressed concrete slabs to electromagnetic shielding, its solutions strike a harmonious balance between form and function. At every project stage, innovation guides Groupe Marzocco’s teams in their pursuit of excellence.

Our commitments

Culture, sport and the community

Groupe Marzocco is deeply committed to improving society and chooses to focus on three key areas: sport, cultural events and community actions. We actively back social initiatives, including those led by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. The group is convinced that sport and culture are key drivers of social cohesion and community spirit, so we have chosen to support emerging talent, contribute to innovative projects and foster Monaco’s cultural reach through prestigious partnerships, for example by collaborating with the Grimaldi Forum on major exhibitions.

Groupe Marzocco also supports public health by partnering with charitable associations such as Monaco Disease Power, which aims to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities. All of these commitments bring to life our group’s vision of an inspiring, inclusive future where excellence goes hand-in-hand with social responsibility.
